Doubtlessly, one of the top things to do in Bali is to go climbing Mount Batur during sunrise hours so you can watch the majestic sun rise from the mountains as if it were coming out of the volcano.

Make sure that you have confirmed about sunrise time with the local folks. And wear a comfortable tracksuit and good grip joggers. Take a torch with you since you might have to leave around 3 AM for it’s a 2-hour ascend. Don’t forget to keep a jacket in your backpack, because as you reach higher up the mountain it tends to get cooler. Once you are at the top, you will want to freeze the time because you would have never felt as close to nature as then.

6. Pemuteran Snorkeling Experience

Suggested by Survive Travel

You visiting Bali and not going for snorkeling at Pemuteran would be doing injustice to yourself. Seriously, this place is great since there are two sites for snorkeling just a little off the beach. One of them is natural reef and the other one is man-made, regardless though, both are amazing! One of the best things about Pemuteran is that it is never too crowded here and also, it’s not even that expensive. The sea is even great for swimming i.e. if you are not a fan of snorkeling. Also, there is this monkey temple nearby that you must visit if you have time!

7. A Walk in the Rice Fields

Suggested by Finding Beyond

The town of Ubud is also famous for its rice fields. It is a liberating experience to say the least. You can hire a guide to help you through your walk in the rice fields or you can just guide yourself. It’s really not that difficult since there are only two main routes in the rice field.

While you are at it, you are going to walk past the hardworking farmers and the beautiful terraces of baby shoots of rice. You can pick a spot for yourself to sit down and just admire the natural beauty all around you. It is very calming – away from the hustle bustle of the city life; worries, the stress of your daily life problems. Just close your eyes and sink your heart in the serenity of the milieu.
