The New Batwoman Javicia Leslie has officially arrived in her costume and fans couldn’t be happier as they are eagerly waiting for Batwoman season 2. The ongoing pandemic has affected all businesses globally and the entertainment industries are no less affected, productions of all TV Series and Movies were also stopped. But now after few months of hault, things are getting better and many movies and TV Series have gotten the green signal to resume their production work. Among these BatWoman was the first broadcast series that started its production on Sept 3rd in Vancouver. This good news was revealed three weeks later by Javicia Leslie who posted a picture of her in Batwoman costume on Instagram. Which was further confirmed by CW on Friday who officially released the first look of new Batwoman season 2.
As we know Javicia Leslie is the first black woman who is playing the role of Batwoman. Leslie is known for her role in The Family Business and God Friended Me when Kate Kane left the show just after its season one finale. Leslie was cast to play the character of Ryan Wilder aka Batwoman, wearing Kate Kane’s Super-Suit. Leslie as Ryan Wilder is a totally different character and there is nothing in common between Leslie and Kate Kane who wore the batwoman suit before. Ryan Wilder is messy, a little goofy and untamed person. Ryan has lived years as a drug dealer. She lives in a van, steals milk for her cat and she can kill you without any tool or weapon. She is not only a highly-skilled fighter but also broadly undisciplined. She is bisexual, Fallible, Raw and Athletic woman.
In association with WB Television, Batwoman is produced by Berlanti. With Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns, and Sarah Schechter, Caroline Dries made the series and serves as an executive producer.
Batwoman is planning to release on CW in 2021. The Batwoman series is worth watching. If you haven’t seen the first season yet, it’s currently available for streaming on The CW website/app and also on HBO Max.
