Want some beauty hacks? Don’t you wish your skin is always looking plumped and has a fabulous supple texture? Do you have peeling skin, scaling skin, and flaky skin? Does your skin look similar to the Sahara desert? Dehydrated or dry skin taking steps to demolish your cosmetics? Oh-My dry skin girls, I sympathize with your agony. Regardless of whether you don’t normally have dry/flaky skin, changing temperatures and climate can dry you out. Well, dry skin is not just about marinating your skin with oils and treating makeup as a no-go area for you! But, while the desire might be to continue slathering on endless heavy or greasy creams all day night, this, in turn, multiplies the chances of breakouts, phew! Why? Over-moisturization clog pores.
I am sharing a couple of my proven beauty hacks and tips to battle peeling skin, scaling skin, and flaky skin without clogging the pores and avoiding those zits that may pop up due to excessive application of creams. Are you prepared for salon-like dreamy and gleaming skin?!
SCALING SKIN: BUFF AWAY THAT
My girls, first and foremost scrub it all off, all that flaky skin. Scrubbing removes the dead/dry skin cells from our skin and so scrubbing should be incorporated as a vital step in our skincare regime. Cream or oil-based exfoliators are ideal forms for dry skin pals. Scrubbing or exfoliating buffs away that flaky skin and reveals brand new smooth and nourished skin.

DAMP SKIN: TRY LOTIONS OR MOISTURIZERS
Dry skin may be lacking water. One of the best beauty hacks to get maximum hydration is to apply all your of hydrating products on to the damp skin. Damp skin tends to absorb product better than dry skin. Thus, be it your face, hands or feet- layer your moisturizer as soon as you wash your skin. This method helps to soak up the product well and locks in all the moisture when its tad bit wet. Result? Clean and healthy skin than all women strive for.
CRACK-FREE BASE: MIX ANY TYPE OF OIL OR SERUM TO YOUR FOUNDATION
Are you sick of seeing your foundation clinging onto those dry patches? Does it appear too heavy and lingers onto laugh lines? Are you struggling to achieve that seamless second- skin like look? Don’t give up! Try this Beauty hacks mixing a drop of serum/oilinto your foundation and warm up this mixture with your fingertips. Try applying your mixture with the fingers as the warmth of your fingers melts the product into the skin. Conclusion: Ultimate Natural-luminous look!
BAKING: SAY NO TO THE MOST HYPED TREND
If you are a girl with dry skin type, baking isn’t the smartest thing you could be doing to your face. It may be an amazing technique to lock in the makeup for hours and hours, but in our case, it makes our already parched skin insanely tight. Additionally, fine lines are more noticeable. To make your makeup long-lasting spray rose water/hydrating mist 2-3 times at the end of your makeup application.
NOURISH YOUR FORSAKEN FEET:
Aren’t we guilty of providing way too care to our face and neglecting other parts of the body? If we were to award the most forsaken part of the body, then poor feet would no doubt receive the award. Feet are perhaps the most “abandoned” part of the body. Like face, Feet also crave some pampering. One of my tried and tested method for feet care incorporates ripe bananas. Why banana? Bananas are packed with vitamin A, C and B6 which acts as a natural moisturizer for your skin. Directions: Take two ripe bananas and mash it with a fork until smooth. Next, massage the paste all over your feet for 12-15 mins. Rinse it off with tap water. Repeat weekly.
TIP FOR GLOWING SKIN: ADD FEW DROPS OF LIQUID HIGHLIGHTER INTO YOUR DAILY MOISTURIZER
Dry skin makes our complexion too dull. To slough away the dullness, mix few drops of liquid highlighter into your daily moisturizer for an instantly radiant complexion. This is a great tactic if you’re on the go and have no time for full-on glam. Moreover, this also provides a smooth canvas for your makeup application.
SCRUB IT AWAY PRIOR TO APPLYING HAND CREAMS:
In order to attain the maximum benefits from your expensive hand creams, EXFOLIATE. Yes, like our face our hands too, must slough away the dull cells to unblock the pores and reveal fresh skin. Directions: Simply, mix sugar and honey and massage it gently all over your hands. You can also rub some lemon juice (optional) after you are finished with a massage. The theory is that lemon juice is rich in vitamin C that helps lighten your skin. Moreover, it also assists in getting rid of Peeling and flaky skin. Rinse it off with clean water and follow up with your favorite hand lotion.
