Last month Dwayne Johnson confirmed that members of Justice Society of America, Hawkman, Atom Smasher, Doctor Fate, and Cyclone will be part of Black Adam. Previously the first two actors were confirmed and now third actor Aldis Hodge confirmed that he will play the role of Hawkman in Black Adam: Dwayne Johnson. It’s been more than ten years since Johnson agreed to work with DC Universe to play the role of hero/villain Black Adam. First, they planned his first appearance as the villain in Shazam. But the plan soon changed as DC wants to give Black Adam a solo movie first. Previously Zachary Levi aka Shazam also revealed that Black Adam and Shazam won’t meet until Shazam 3.
Johnson previously confirmed the members of JSA will feature in Black Adam after hearing this news fans are wondering who will play the roles of JSA members. Fans are more interested in Hawkman’s character but there were reports that the studio is considering some big names, it was reported that Ryan Reynolds was going to play the DC hero. But now it’s confirmed that jack reacher 2 actor Aldis Hodge will play Hawkman. This update wasn’t officially declared by DC but now it has been confirmed on various fronts.

A few hours ago Aldis Hodge posted his excitement to join the DC Extended Universe on his Instagram and confirmed the reports that in future he will play the role of Hawkman in Black Adam. After his post, Dwayne Johnson also joined and confirmed Hodge’s involvement in Black Adam by sharing a funny story about Johnson and Hodge phone conversation and how he got excited when Dwayne Johnson said welcome to Black Adam.
As of now three actors officially confirmed to be a part of the movie. Well Black Adam: Dwayne Johnson is doing the lead role while other cast members will be doing JSA member roles with Hodge. It is also confirmed that Noah Centineo will play Atom Smasher’s role in the movie. Now Hodge’s role as a Hawkman in Black Adam is also confirmed which is also confirmed by Johnson in his Instagram post about Hodge’s addition as the leader of the JSA.
