Black Widow’s final release date is officially confirmed to be delayed. The movie will release on Disney+ Premier Access along with theatres in July. The most and long-awaited Marvel movie was supposed to release in May 2020, but due to the ongoing pandemic, the movie had to see several delays in its release date.
First, the movie was delayed due to some delays in production due to the ongoing pandemic. Then the alarming conditions and increasing case, and then again for the same reason. But now after the vaccinations and reopening of theatres, the movie was planned to release in May 2021 but is again delayed. Now, the Black Widow’s Final release date and is expected to be in July 2021.
However, the biggest question that fans have is whether the Black Widow will release on Disney+ or not. Disney had launched the PAB (Premier Access Banner) to make the latest movies (as Mulan and The Last Dragon) available for an additional cost.
But Black Widow was a much bigger movie than the others released on online platforms. The creators were holding the movie from release in expectation of cinema reopening. However, looking at the conditions worldwide, it has now been decided by Marvel and Disney that the movie will have a dual release this summer.
Black Widow will release on July 9 in both theatres and Disney Premier Access+ on the same day. Marvel also released the latest poster of Black Widow in this regard.
It is speculated that this will be the final release date and it won’t get pushed any further. The last trailer of Black Widow was released around a year ago. Thus, the marketing team needs to campaign their movie rigorously. It’s assumed that the makers are asking for a July release date because they want to wait a little more so things get settled. With a budget of over $200 million, the movie needs to make money from the tickets and other revenue sources.
