Gerard Butler Action Movie Greenland from STX films set its new release date of July 31, the previous movie was scheduled for June 12 but due to coronavirus pandemic movie got pushed back. Greenland joins a group of large movies that are also planned to release in July, movies such as Warner Bros.’ Tenet on July 17 and Disney’s Mulan is planned to release on July 24, after these two other movies are also planned for the month of August The Empty Man which is planned to release on August 6 and Paramount movie SpongeBob: Sponge on the Run on Aug. 7.

Gerard Butler is not unfamiliar with his action and disaster movies, who also played the role of Mike Banning in Fallen movie as a protector of President of the United States of America. Butler joins again with Waugh the director and screenwriter of the recent film of Butler, Angle has Fallen, music for both movies provided by David Buckley. In February 2019 Butler took a position to play a lead role from Chris Evan when Waugh took the position of Neill Blomkamp as a Director.
