Godzilla vs. Kong and The Matrix 4 release date delayed

From the past few months due to coronavirus pandemic, many movie release dates pushed back because cinemas are closed all over the world and also the production of many movies stopped. Fans thought that there will be no more delays but unfortunately, Tenet pushed back two weeks and Wonder Women 1984 moved its release date from August to October, and Now Warner Bros. also change release dates of Godzilla vs. Kong and the Matrix 4 with its other movies.

Previously Godzilla vs. Kong was set to release on November 20, 2020, but now it will release in the theater on May 21, 2021, Fans have to wait six more months to see the clash of two Titans.

The Matrix 4 original release date was May 21, 2021, now been move to April 1, 2022. The delaying in release is because the movie stopped its production due to ongoing pandemic issues. Some countries are easing in lockdown and allowing Film and TV to start its production with safety precautions of crew and cast recently LA and California announced that film and television production can resume their production work with state guidelines. The Matrix 4 will now hit Theaters month ahead of another Reeve’s movie John Wick: Chapter 4 and it’s funny because these two blockbuster movies were planned to release in the theaters on the same day.

Other than these two movies Warner Bros. also delayed Tom and Jerry which was planned to release on December 23, 2020, but now release date is extended to March 5, 2021, also The Witches remake planned to arrive in October and it’s expected to come out in 2021, the new release date isn’t announced yet. Beside these delays two major WB movies are still on its original release dates The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It and Dune for September 11 and December 18.

While movie theaters are starting to reopen their dates across the country, we have to see how this ongoing pandemic will affect Film and TV industry more, also to see the reaction of moviegoers will they visit the theaters or not? If there is not a huge audience to entertain then maybe studios will further push back its movies.
