Twitter is offering two dark modes for iPhone and Android, one is dark blue background (known as DIM) and the other one is the black background (called LIGHTOUT) which is designed for AMOLED screen cellphones. You can switch among the two dark modes as per your preference. Just go to the main menu select Setting and Privacy, then select Display and Sound and choose from two given options ‘Dim’ or ‘Lights out’.
Twitter dark mode has debuted for the android phones, but after some time light out feature became available for iPhone users, if you don’t see the option go to your phone setting- select apps-find twitter- click it and select force stop after that clear apps data and relaunch twitter app and you will see dark mode option in the setting (display).
If you want to surf the dark mode on desktop, twitter use prefer-color scheme setting which tells your browsers that dark mode option is available and it will automatically switch. Almost all modern web browsers including Firefox, Chrome, and Edge display true versions to match your Browser setting.
If you want to change the twitter desktop display manually which is also possible got to the setting and privacy option select display you will find three options to select Default, Dim, and Lights Out. You just have to do is go to ‘Settings and privacy’—select display— choose ‘Default’, ‘Dim’, or ‘Lights out’ whatever you like.
