Maria Sharapova Bids Tennis Goodbye!

Top ranked women’s tennis player and Grand Slam Champ, Maria Sharapova retires at the age of 32.

Sharapova has been prospering in all fields of life, including business, modelling and sports. She bids farewell to Tennis!

She describes her passion of the game that’s it all untold tears and unspeakable joys. She mentions that it is a sport where she found a family along with the fans who rallied her for more than 28 years.

This Russian superstar Sharapova turned professional when she was only 14. Three years later, she won Wimbledon in 2004 and upset Serena Williams in the finals. She won the US Open in 2006 and then the Australian Open in 2008. She received the Grand Slam title at Roland Garros- winning the Frech open in both 2012 and 2014.

Maria Sharapova is known for her height, groundstrokes and her grunting during the game. She racked up her career with 36 titles as per Women’s Tennis Association.

Sharapova believes that what she is today is because of her passion and love for tennis. It made her grow and pursued her to move ahead in life.
