Dwayne Johnson says Netlfix’s Red Notice set is taking the most intrusive COVID-19 pandemic protocols in Hollywood. Among all upcoming movies on online streaming service, Red Notice is one of the most notable movies with well-known Hollywood stars in the crew. For this action/comedy movie Ryan Reynolds and Wonder Women’s Gal Gadot will join Johnson, directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber who has also directed most anticipated movies like Central Intelligence and Skyscraper in the past. Plot details are still not known, well Johnson plays the role in Red Notice as an interpol officer beside him Reynolds plays the role of a hustler who helps him find Gadot who plays the role of world’s greatest art theif.
Even with popular names that are attached to Red Notice, the project is having a slow start. Firstly the movie was planned to be released in 2020 with Universal and Legendary but later it got changed and now the release of the movie is decided to happen on Netflix. Earlier this year the production began but it stopped in March due to COVID-19. Now Red Notice is on track again and has resumed it’s production work this month. Reynolds and Gadot shared their COVID test pictures on social media from the Red Notice set.
Johnson shared a BTS picture from the Red Notice set along with Thurber as he and Thurber both wear masks and plastic face protecting Sheilds taking impressive safety measures which you can see down below. Johnson also mentions that the whole cast and crew are working hard as well as following the most aggressive COVID-19 measures in all of Hollywood.
Johnson’s post on social media is important at the moment because earlier this month he got tested positive for COVID-19 but after the announcement, he got recovered. This is the first time that he is back on work after dealing with the virus. We are hoping that their safety measures will work so that the movie will not face any setback and complete it’s production work smoothly.
This year Netflix got huge success with Reynolds’s own action movie 6 Underground and now this movie will be another hit for online streaming. Fans got a sigh of relief after hearing the news that Red Notice is back on track. On every movie that is currently being produced it’s a common practice now that the crew and cast have to take safety precautions and follow COVID protocols. If Johnson is right that the film set is taking aggressive safety measures, so there is no reason to worry that the film will face any setback.
