While all of you are waiting for The Matrix Resurrections, here is all you need to know about the movie!
The new trailer for the movie has arrived with the prominent dialogue
“Maybe this isn’t the story we think it is.”
The trailer is named Deja Vú, and as the fans know (and evident from the trailer as well), Deja Vú happens when they change something within the Matrix.
The trailer has been successful in giving us hints of the thrill, action, suspense, and nerve-wrenching storyline without giving any spoiler about the movie itself!
The fourth movie in the franchise will start up 20 years after the incident of The Matrix Revolutions, with Neo living an apparently average life in San Francisco under his birth identity with no recollection of the events of the previous films. Morpheus ( Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) gives him the red pill that reconvenes his brain to the magnificent world of the Matrix, while his therapist (Neil Patrick Harris) prescribes blue pills.
Here is the trailer of the movie
The Matrix Resurrections features Neo from the previous movie as he reinvents the realm of The Matrix and confronts his history after living an apparently regular life for 20 years following the previous film. The sequel will star Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Carrie-Anne Moss, Keanu Reeves, and Jada Pinkett Smith, as well as Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Christina Ricci, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas who will all reprise their roles from the previous movie.
New pics released from EW:
Henwick’s blue-haired gunslinger Bugs is seen taking Reeves’ Neo down the rabbit hole in a new scene from The Matrix Resurrections. Henwick’s character, Bugs, is one of the numerous new characters featured in The Matrix Resurrections, however, nothing is known about her. The picture is part of an exclusive from Entertainment Weekly that features fresh facts and photos from the next Matrix film. It appears to have something to do with teleporting between the real world and The Matrix, but no one understands how or what it does.
Sense8 actor Toby Onwumere is seen wearing intriguing new digital devices in a new photograph from The Matrix Resurrections alongside Morpheus, Lexy, and Bugs. Both Ibarra and Onwumere are seen with Henwick’s Bugs and Abdul-Mateen II’s Morpheus in a new shot from the film shared by EW, donning new technology that hasn’t been seen in the series before. Onwumere’s outfit consists of a vest, visor, helmet, and special gloves that resemble the futuristic technology shown in previous films, although not quite to this extent. Because the premise for The Matrix Resurrections is so vague, there’s a lot to think about, including this new technology. With so much of The plot still unknown, it’s difficult to guess what the new technology in this image may be used for.
Unique film concept:
Each film’s concepts are what made the original Matrix trilogy so successful with reviewers and moviegoers. The series has become a theatrical standard, permanently changing the science-fiction genre, thanks to the first film’s exploration of such important and tough issues. Allegories for faith, mythology, gender, and even philosophy can be found in the movie. With the idea that the film would use tech to further change our view of reality, it looks that fans of the Matrix franchise will be in for a wild journey. According to Wachowski’s prior statements and the film’s advertising material, the next chapter will continue to dig into profound issues and offer spectators mind-bending mysteries.
Furthermore, modern audiences are likely to be drawn in by the technology at the heart of the film’s peculiar storytelling, particularly if it adds to the tale. The Matrix Resurrections will be released in theatres on December 22.
