At this point of coronavirus pandemic we are not surprised that movie is delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This morning we heard that Top Gun: Maverick’s is also in the list of titles who has been pushed back. Now we have to wait longer for the return of the movie which last seen on the big screen in 1986.

Tom cruise confirmed the movie delay news in his recent tweet.

Top Gun: Maverick’s was landing in July 2019, rather than in June 24, 2020 I will land in December 23, 2020 just before two days in Christmas, now the long wait of 34-years more pushed back by six months, but at this time it is hard to tell when the coronavirus pandemic over and when life starting back to normal and when the theater will reopen.

Paramount pictures play safe and delay Top Gun: Maverick’s release, in the end of tweet Tom Cruise advising to stay safe. Now we are not getting this movie in this summer like other movie titles and we have to wait till December, which is opening in the same weekend when Tom and Jerry and The Croods 2 will release both movies didn’t get new dates.

But atleast Paramount didn’t move Top Gun: Maverick long way till next year like Universal pictures did their movies F9, and Minions: The Rise of Gru. With the Maverick Paramount also pushed back A Quiet Place: Part II which was coming out last month, now new date is September 4, also Spongebob Movie: Sponge on the Run, original date was May 22 but now it will release on July 31.

Movie starts developing back in 2010, and then in 2017 Maverick speed up its production, the New Top gun cast includes Jennifer Connelly, Monica Barbaro, Miles Teller, Jon Hamm, Ed Harris, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman and Charles Parnell, with others.
